The fundamental principles
of The International Association
of Computer Graphics

1. The mission of the IACG is to expand and broaden the appeal of Computer Graphics as a genuine accepted art discipline across an united worldwide appeal. The IACG will focus on and demonstrate computer graphics as a significant form of graphic art as well as supporting many other styles. The IACG will focus exclusively on computer output committed to atomic (physical) media in one or more form(s) of printing. As such, the Association will carry out various physical and virtual exhibitions of digital graphics, help to establish a database of artists, and support various events linked to such computer graphics activities. Current members of the Association will assist individual and collective exhibitions and will, in all ways feasible, support each other to promote, sponsor IACG events and activities.

2. Any gallery owner, exhibitor virtual or physical, and any festival or organization linked to exhibitions of computer graphics are eligible to make application as a member of the IACG. Upon receipt of such application a jury of the IACG will be formed as the Association. Individual digital artists can also become members of the IACG by the decision of the jury.

3. Any digital artist wishing to participate in IACG exhibitions can become a member of the Association. In preparation for such application works should be prepared for a review by a jury composed of IACG members regarding membership in the Association.

4. Any person(s) involved with the technical issues and concerns regarding computer graphics is eligible to become a member of the Association.

5. Work shown in IACG exhibitions by Association members are expected to be developed in accordance with personal principles. The artistic concerns of other IACG members are to be regarded as only advisory in nature. As such, the only form of censorship recognized by the Association is that practiced by individual artists with respect to their own works.

6. Every other year the Biennial of Computer Graphics will presented in whatever geographical location best suits the membership of the Association.

7. Members of the Association are obliged to inform each other regarding events linked to computer graphics.

8. The Association has its own website where a complete list of IACG members and comprehensive information about the activities of the Association and its members will be displayed.

9. IACG Membership does not imply or restrict any limitations on the individual regarding artistic activities of members. The Association exists to enhance the possibilities of those involved in the widest possible range of computer graphics related work.
